Adding your logo into your Real Estate forms
Here are the instructions for inserting your logo into your real estate forms:
Make sure that your logo is at maximum 1 inch high and no wider than 1 3/4 inches.
The image will be needed to be saved in a bitmap format (.bmp) - this can be done
in most image editing programs like paint, photoshop, or any other image editing program you may have.
The file must be named logo or logo.bmp
You will need to place this file in the MDocs’s Forms folder - the folder can be found here:
-Open My Computer
-Open the C Drive
-Open the MD2000 folder
-Open the Forms folder
-Copy logo.bmp to this location
-When asked if you want to overwrite the existing file, choose Yes
*If your M/Docs software was installed using a network install, then the logo file needs to be placed in the Forms folder on the network (as specified during the install). Close out of these windows and run MDocs - your logo will now print out on the various real estate forms.

Cannot Save Field / Error Reading Field Error
Here are the directions for fixing the following errors:
Cannot save fieldError reading field
- When the error comes up, click OK to close out the error window
- On your keyboard, push the Control and F keys at the same time
- There will be a new window that opens up, at the bottom of this window, click on Create
- Next, click on Combine
- Next, click on Retain
- Next, click on OK
- Finally, click OK on the remaining window
Most of the time the record you were trying to save was actually saved, so search for that record; if the record is not there, it will need to be recreated. The problem shows up on a per form basis due to the fact that each form has its own database; so if you run the fix on one form, the error may occur on another form, if this happens, just follow the same directions.

Windows 16 Bit Subsystem Error
This is a Microsoft Windows problem that affects 16 bit programs, of which Formflow is one. It most likely is caused by spyware, adware or viruses. Microsoft has a walkthrough for the problem on their website and I am including two links below:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;324767&Product=winxphttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/314452/EN-US/ or search online for '16 bit subsystem error"
When they mention that you put in the CD - they are referring to your Windows install CD
When they mention "CD-ROM Drive Letter" - you need to put in the letter that refers to your CD drive - you can find this out by opening My Computer and looking to see what letter is associated with your CD drive. In the middle of the commands you type in (see webpage), there is a space between ..."config.nt_" and "c:\windows" You must include the space for the fix to work.
When you have completed the tasks that are referred to on Microsoft's website, you will need to reinstall MDocs in the following manner:
-Open My Computer
-Open the C drive
-Delete the Formflow folder (if there is one there) and click Yes on any warnings that show up
-Reinstall MDocs
*This can be caused by spyware, adware or viruses - you probably should scan your hard drive for these. There are various spyware and adware scanning programs that can help with removal of malware; you should also scan your hard drive with an anti-virus program that is up-to-date. Regular scanning of your hard drive with the above programs should help to keep your computer clear of malware (spyware, adware and viruses).
